FERC Announces Latest eForms Refresh with 2024 Taxonomies

On December 21st, the FERC updated the eForms system with the draft Version 2024-01-01 of its XBRL taxonomies, validation rules, and rendering files. The Taxonomy Package is now available for download in the eForms portal under Taxonomy History. The system is currently accepting test submissions. FERC Announces Latest eForms Refresh

On November 16th, the FERC announced that the Form 1 taxonomy and related codesets have been revised to version 2023-11-17. The update is effective for the filing of fourth quarter 2023 forms. This update addresses errors in the taxonomy for the Energy Storage Operations (large plants) and Energy Storage Operations (small plants) schedules, and makes the required updates in the related codesets. FERC Publishes Updates to eForms Refresh

On November 21, 2022, the eForms system was revised to include the draft FERC Version 2023 taxonomies, validation rules, and rendering files effective for the filing of first quarter 2023 forms and all future filings. FERC Announces Updates to eForms Refresh

FERC Updates eForms Refresh

On February 2nd, the FERC announced that drafts of the Release 2.0 Taxonomies may now be accessed in the Vendor File Library under Quick Links on the FERC’s eForms Refresh webpage. The final Release 2.0 taxonomies will be available to test and submit official filings in the eCollection portal beginning February 17, 2022.
